Carol Gallegos - Broker

Carol J. Gallegos founded Gallegos & Associates Real Estate, Inc. in 1999, specializing in Hotel/Motel Brokerage. She was responsible for starting the Marcus & Millichap Hospitality and Lodging Division in Arizona. She holds a Masters Degree in Business Management with a focus on Hotel Management and Accounting. She has extensive experience in the marketing and negotiating of commercial real estate transactions.

During her career at Marcus & Millichap she worked extensively with major national hotel executives and principals in marketing their assets and negotiating successful transactions on their behalf. Ms. Gallegos has represented owners that include Hospitality REITS, Banks and single asset owners. Her transaction experience covers full service hotels, limited service hotels, and land transactions for hotel development. She also is a Certified Land Specialist with the Commercial Real Estate Institute. Her extensive knowledge of hotel operations and development has secured several exclusive clients and recommendations from numerous others.

Since founding the company, Carol and her team of professionals have built the solid reputation of Gallegos & Associates, Inc. as a leader in hotel and motel brokerage. Gallegos & Associates, Inc. specializes in brokering hotels and has the capability of brokering properties in 24 states.

   
Mark T Brown
Mark T. Brown, CHA

Bachelor of Science with a Dual Major in Real Estate and Business Administration.

Mr. Brown joined the team at Gallegos and Associates in 2004;. He has been a hotel broker for several years following an extensive career in the hospitality industry. He recently retired as a member of the Board of Directors and former Chairman of Best Western International, the World's Largest Lodging Chain. In that capacity he developed working relationships with key hospitality leaders and investors throughout the U.S. and in over 80 countries. Mark also brings the unique perspective of having personally owned and operated numerous hotels of varying brands and styles in several states. During much of his 30 year tenure in the industry he has provided broad based consulting to hospitality owners and investors throughout the Southwest and Mountain regions. Through his strategic experience, ground level understanding of operations and global acquaintance, Mark provides clients the broadcast representation for any size assignment. Mark holds the Certified Hotel Administrator designation from the American Hotel & Lodging Association, as well as numerous awards and recognitions for his contributions to the industry.
   
Andrea Wilson

Andrea Wilson

Andrea joined the Gallegos team in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Washington.  Andrea has extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry as well as training in real estate marketing.  Andrea began her career with KB Homes, specializing in new home developments. Andrea has worked on numerous hospitality transactions in multiple states.  She has successfully negotiated transactions with most of the major hospitality flags and is skilled in managing escrows through to their completion. Andrea is a full time resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado and as such, heads up the rapidly expanding Colorado Division of Gallegos & Associates, Inc.
   
Jim Kleczewski
Jim Kleczewski

Jim is a 30-year veteran of public relations and advertising. With a bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations, Jim spent his career within the advertising agency ranks, including Young & Rubicam, one of the largest ad agencies in the world and WFC Advertising, a full-service regional agency in Phoenix.

In 2004, Jim co-founder Trillium, a company that provides integrated sales, marketing and launch services for resort developers. He provides consulting services for master plan development, amenity development, entitlement services and marketing, advertising and sales strategies for lead generation.

Jim was the project manager for Remington Las Montanas, a 5-star $280,000,000 condo hotel resort project in Indian Wells, California. His team generated $28,000,000 in sales during its initial 60-day launch period. He was also lead project manager for The Lodges at Calistoga Ranch (Private Residence Club), a 5-star Auberge Resort property in Napa Valley, California. Trillium took over the under-performing project in 2006 and in its first seven months, increased real estate sales by 60 percent.

In 2007, he also worked with Carol Gallegos to create and initiate all sales and marketing initiatives for the $550,000,000 Bob-Lo Island, a marina resort community, which earned the title of Top Real Estate Development in Canada for 2006.

Carol Zapalowski

Carol began her sales and marketing career in Arizona, serving as the Group Sales Director for Fred Harvey Properties/The El Trevor at the Grand Canyon from 1976 through 1980.  Afterwards, she joined advertising agencies Bernard Hodes and Chaser & Holister.  As an Account Manager, Carol provided marketing services team for leading regional and national companies, including Fortune 500 firms.

She was the co-founder of PR West, a marketing-based public relations firm in Arizona, initially specializing in the homebuilding, financial and healthcare industries, but today focuses on integrated services for residential resort developers, many in conjunction with a major hotel flag.

Carol helped launch Rising Star Homes, a production homebuilder that grew from a single sub-division to a multi-community builder. In recent years, she was part of the team which created marketing and sales programs for the residential components of 4 and 5-Star Resorts such as Shores of Mackinaw in Michigan, Remington Las Montanas in Indian Wells, California and Bob-Lo Island in Canada.

As an agent of Gallegos & Associates, Carol specializes in both the purchase and sales of hotel properties with a focus on the Northern Arizona market.
